Univox Eagle



The Eagle was a Fender Strat/P-Bass style guitar/bass with an eagle carved into the body. Both had maple boards w/ black dots and fender style heads. The guitar (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, (6) had black/white multiply pickguard w/ 3 see-through humbuckers, controls were 3 way w/ volume and tone and covered vibrato. The Bass (1, 2, 3) had a black multiply pickguard w/ split-coil pickup, volume and tone. (Thanks to Anthony Krainik for the pics)


Availability

Also in 1976 and lasting about a year or 2, the line was similar to an Aria from '76. Models were the U1856 guitar and the U1974 bass.
